First you open up a illustrator page. The illustrator page is an AI in a yellow box.












When you open illustrator click: file- new. Name your file and change the page to landscape if necessary.

To make your file a timeline either draw your timeline design of find a picture of it on the internet and remove the background to start making your timeline.










Add a text box to the picture and add pictures and information, you can use arrows to make clear links to each bit.
